Few Words About This Book:
Maughan chiaroscuro technique shows a well-regarded classic illustrations , which produces very good results in the drawing practices for many of them . Although the book is about portraits, but the theme principles can apply to anything, you draw, and because the tonal value is the only thing that should be suitable for realistic
images ,this is the main advantage of this book,This book could be helpful to ,Who has a special focus on common problems and deals with it in a moderate depth it is a document from which to work, not just for fun

You can get an ability on rectifying the mistakes . As an experience artist with a preference for accuracy ,I found Maughan coherent and convincing approach help me, because it reinforce some of the directions in which I was weak.Carbothello pencils techinques are great for drawing. He moved to clarify the chiaroscuro, value, shape, color and so on, which I recommend to read thoroughly before taking them in large chapters on this topic a head. The portraits are amazing and where you can enjoy by watching them, though you cant draw, get it and it will not be disappoint you

Lastly to say again ,If you want to learn to draw a good portrait of the person, then this book is good value for money, and certainly guide in t
he right direction

Ellen Soderquist - The Art of Gesture Drawing

Ellen Soderquist - The Art of Gesture Drawing
English | XviD 576 x 432 29.970 fps | MP3 102 Kbps | 699 MB
Genre: Video Training
In this video, both tangible and conceptual aspects of gesture drawing are presented through a series of demonstrations, exercises and critical examples. Not only does gesture drawing provide the essential basis for the development of the nude body in works of art; but it also disciplines the eye, hand and mind to capture that elusive life-like essence of humanity.
Ellen Soderquist is a recent addition to LOA Productions starting this video on Gesture Drawing. She has been teaching gesture as well as other graphite based techniques for 19 years, including courses taught at Brookhaven College in Dallas, Texas and private classes in her studio near Coit and Belt Line, Texas. In this video, she teaches by demonstrating with a live model and then letting her students apply their hand at various exercises. Ellen then follows up with critique of their work so that every level of artist will see themselves somewhere among her students.
Ellen Soderquist has exhibited her drawings of the figure and taught life drawing since 1979. As an artist, Soderquist creates intelligent and sensuous pencil drawings of the human body. As a teacher, she advocates that her students not only learn the techniques of life drawing but that they also understand the history of the nude as an art form, and that they communicate their ideas about humanity through their work. As a lecturer and an author she delves into the past to bring the complex relevance of the unlothed human body to the consciousness of contemporary culture.

Few Words About This Book :The actual drawing process and skills that can be useful in a lot of details were. In fact after seeing the book, I was very disappointed. I had the same problem with your picture book techniques. Both very short on substance, and were less expensive, step-instruction booklets body parts do not move much like books. Lots images or sections of lines with no break. In fact, the book reveals the finished product, not really process. Another critic said, if you book with lots of examples of his work will like it. I like it to the pages of this book, he impressed with his knowledge and experience has taught. The book rather thin and technical information or to exercise in the description of light. I do not recommend it to an absolute beginner (if you might "or similar book on the right side brain imperfect but effective Betty Edwards' Drawing are learning to draw better with a will). But if you regularly drawing Practice began drawing realistic pictures approaches with some good general tips on the subject, for example, wish this book could be worth a look.

Few Words About This Book :
Color picture which won third place in an art exhibition in the city. This book, for example, 175 contains only images. Facilities without appointment ratio - the
other picture books offer is too high, the rate "Portrait Drawing" is difficult to draw pictures of human higher. It includes any of the fundamentals. It just "artist" is doing now is an account of. I was bored silly by this book, do not get anything out of it, and pretty enough to cover a book. I bureau had made a sculpture of a
skull full of mud, but I put it in the upper brain his head and his face towards the nerves. It turned out very well as it finished second at the state level, I decided I wanted to learn to draw and then see the real picture. I tried to take a picture of his girlfriend, but I got stuck in the nose, then my art teacher gave me some advice and gives me your copy of the book. I'm glad they did, because I personally think my first time doing portraiture, I did very well. Even my girlfriend, boss, and teacher were affected. If there is one things, that more books are equally good, I would be interested in hearing about them.
