Most people learn to take a photo realistic textures of all kinds form many tutorials, examples, and text is very easy. As an artist, color texture is quite new to explain, Mr.Hillberry book provided many important steps in my learning process of drawing and will continue.The first two chapters deal with materials and techniques. The last two show how to apply the material and technical demonstrations / exercises.

It contains dozens of tips on how you we can get realistic figure with many illustrations, step by step. Some textures are taught as leather, glass, wood, metal, human skin, different surfaces, etc. I found this book on googlebooks.com and really fired up. Nothing could be simpler or more complex and so on Hillbery opened my eyes to the incredible opportunities closed in the most basic tools of art. Now, after the techinques and tools along this wonderful book, I found another creative outlet to fall in love with drawing .The author, writing is easy to read and understand. His compositions gives life and portraits are brilliant. This makes an excellent reference book and full of information.
